SAFC, one of the country’s leading non-bank financing institutions, has officially partnered with Netbank, a pioneering banking-as-a-service (BaaS) platform, to provide borrowers with a faster, more convenient, and more flexible way to settle their loan payments. This initiative is in line with the company’s ongoing efforts to scale its digital reach nationwide in its 22nd year in service.

The Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed on October 9, 2025, at SAFC’s Head Office in Pasig City. This strategic collaboration strengthens SAFC’s commitment to make financing simpler and more accessible to Filipinos through digital innovation.

Netbank is the first fully regulated and fully operational BaaS platform in the Philippines, providing banks, fintechs, and financial institutions with plug-and-play banking infrastructure without the need to secure their own banking licenses. By offering core banking functions such as payment processing, account management, and regulatory compliance through API integration, Netbank empowers partners to launch financial products and services faster, more securely, and at lower operational cost.Through Netbank’s secure and efficient payment platform, SAFC clients will soon enjoy more flexible payment channels—allowing them to settle their dues anytime, anywhere. This move supports the shared mission of both organizations to advance financial inclusion and innovation in the Philippines, especially for underbanked and underserved communities.

“For 22 years, SAFC has been committed to empowering Filipinos through accessible financing. This partnership with Netbank is in line with our over-all mission here,” said Kevin John N. Cabanban, President and CEO of SAFC. “By ensuring efficiency and ease of access for our clients through this new payment channel, we effectively showcase the power of strategic partnerships in making financial solutions more inclusive and efficient and SAFC’s dedication to evolving with our clients’ needs.”

“We are excited to collaborate with SAFC, a trusted name in financing, to deliver more inclusive and customer-centric payment solutions,” said Amiel De Sotto, Head of Loans. “By integrating our efficient digital banking infrastructure for clients with SAFC’s reliable financing services, we’re making financial access easier and more streamlined for thousands of borrowers.”

This partnership marks another milestone in SAFC’s digital transformation journey and both of the companies’ shared mission in driving inclusive financial progress across the country.
