Job Summary:
The Digital Marketing Assistant will support the company’s digital marketing efforts by
managing social media platforms, TikTok Ads, creating engaging content, analyzing data,
and occasionally appearing in content. This role works under the direction of the Digital
Marketing Supervisor to ensure effective execution of digital campaigns aligned with
strategic communications goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Management
○ Manage daily social media activities in TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn, including posting, engagement monitoring, and community interaction.
○ Maintain an organized content calendar to ensure timely and consistent publishing across platforms.
○ Stay current on social media trends, algorithm changes, emerging platforms, and best practices to ensure the company’s digital presence remains competitive.
2. Content Coordination
○ Write clear, engaging, and on-brand content for social media posts and campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
○ Assist in planning and developing content strategies aligned with brand goals and target audiences.
○ Occasionally serve as the face of content, appearing in videos or other media formats to elevate the brand’s visibility and impact.
3. TikTok Ads Support
○ Assist in creating, launching, and optimizing TikTok Ads campaigns to improve reach and engagement.
○ Monitor ad performance metrics and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
4. Data Analysis & Reporting
○ Track and analyze social media metrics using tools like TikTok Insights and Google Analytics.
○ Prepare performance reports highlighting key insights and actionable recommendations.
5. Basic Editing & Content Creation
○ Edit photos, videos, and graphics on an as-needed basis for time-sensitive posts to maintain brand consistency.
○ Collaborate with the Creative team to finalize urgent content while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
6. Team Assistance & Collaboration
○ Support cross-functional initiatives by coordinating with various teams to collect necessary resources, assets, and information essential for timely social media content creation and campaign execution.
○ Assist the Digital Marketing Supervisor and Strategic Communications team in executing additional digital marketing tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
● Has 6 months to 2 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or related roles.
● Strong writing skills with the ability to maintain a consistent brand voice.
● Basic photo and video editing skills using tools like Canva or Adobe software.
● Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
● Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
