Job Summary:
As the Corporate Communications Supervisor at SAFC, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the company’s overall reputation through compelling storytelling and strategic editorial content. You will be the key architect behind our Corporate Communications narratives and a vital support for all business units, ensuring a holistic approach to our communications efforts. Your work will drive programs that balance our reputation across six core pillars—services, culture, conduct, sustainability, performance, and vision—while fostering strategic partnerships and media relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Editorial Leadership & Corporate Communications
- Craft clear, engaging, and consistent content that strengthens SAFC’s overall reputation.
- Develop programs and initiatives centered on the six pillars of reputation, ensuring each story reinforces our values and strategic vision.
- Lead the development of key corporate communications materials, including quarterly newsletters, and manage LinkedIn content planning and posting to support SAFC’s corporate messaging and digital presence.
- Support the coordination and execution of SAFC’s corporate events and annual stockholder meetings.
- Manage and refine corporate messaging to reflect SAFC’s commitment to innovation, integrity, and sustainable growth.
- Integrated Communications Support
- Collaborate closely with the Digital Marketing, Offline Marketing, and Creative teams to ensure all communications materials are aligned with SAFC’s brand narrative.
- Act as a bridge between business units, offering editorial expertise that supports the implementation of holistic communication strategies.
- Participate in weekly brainstorming sessions within the Strategic Communications Department to drive innovative ideas and align departmental goals.
- CSR and Community Engagement
- Engage with local government units (LGUs) to support SAFC branches and foster institutional partnerships.
- Source, develop, and disseminate stories from CSR initiatives that showcase SAFC’s community impact and collaborative efforts.
- Coordinate community outreach efforts that contribute to building and sustaining a positive public image.
- Media Relations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with media outlets to ensure accurate and favorable coverage of SAFC.
- Oversee media monitoring and coverage reporting, providing insights and strategic recommendations to strengthen public relations efforts.
- Assist in managing crisis communications to protect and strengthen SAFC’s reputation during challenging situations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in corporate communications, editorial writing, and media relations.
- Strong storytelling ability with a keen eye for detail and a creative approach to content creation.
- Proven track record of working collaboratively in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to engage diverse audiences.
- Experience in community engagement and working with governmental or institutional partners is a plus.
- Ability to monitor, analyze, and adapt strategies based on performance metrics and evolving industry trends.
