Area Manager

JOB OBJECTIVE:

Responsible for all the performances of branches including its employees in a specified area of responsibility. This Area Manager will handle Bulacan and Pampanga.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages and oversees the branch operations of assigned area and subordinates to ensure effective completion of their responsibilities

Establishes work standards, performance measures, goals and objectives

Assigns deliverables/tasks to subordinates

Evaluates work performance, tracks and reviews work progress of subordinates

Provides direction and guidance

Coaches, counsels and motivates subordinates

Recommends personnel action/movement

Interviews prospective employees for the branch and recommends hiring

Conducts job orientation and technical trainings

Identifies and recommends training program/seminar for staff development

Issues and implements disciplinary actions as needed in concurrence with the Immediate Superior

Monitors daily production and loan releases of all branches in the assigned area

Evaluates the assigned branches’/area’s performance in terms of profitability, production, releases and it’s employees’ performance to ensure targets and commitments are attained

Approves or declines loan application within the loan-approval authority of the position

Conducts analysis in the expansion of business coverage, potential market and opportunities

Implements the business plans and programs designed by the Marketing Group

Maintains business partnership between the company and its business partners such as Loan Consultants

Delivers marketing activity within the agreed budget

Manages the productivity of marketing plans, proposals and projects

Formulates new policies related to marketing and amends existing ones as necessary

Conducts meeting with branch managers from time to time and visits branches within the area to ensure branches’

performance are doing well

Reports regularly the performance of branches to the immediate superior

Participates in marketing saturations / activities with Loan Consultants

Attends Executive Committee Meetings, Management Committee Meetings and other internal/external meetings as necessary

Performs other work-related functions and duties that may be assigned from time to time

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Preferably with degree in Business Management, Sales or Marketing, or other related course.

With at least five (5) years work-related experience in Marketing obtained from a financial institution, two (2) years
