Pay: ₱30,000.00 – ₱40,000.00 per month
I. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Mid-Level DevOps Engineer is responsible for automating deployments, managing cloud and on-premise infrastructure, and ensuring application reliability for SAFC’s enterprise systems. The role ensures that applications and infrastructure align with BSP, AMLA, and Data Privacy standards, while supporting the company’s digital transformation roadmap.
II. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- % of successful automated deployments with minimal rollbacks.
- Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR) for production incidents.
- System uptime and availability (target ≥ 99.9%).
- % of infrastructure provisioned via Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Compliance audit results (BSP, AMLA, ISO 27001).
- Reduction in manual operational tasks through automation.
- Cost optimization achieved on cloud resources.
- Response and resolution times for security vulnerabilities.
III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Infrastructure & Automation o Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for application builds, testing, and deployments. o Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or ARM templates. o Support infrastructure migration from on-premise to Azure/AWS.
2. Cloud & Systems Reliability o Deploy, monitor, and scale containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. o Ensure high availability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of cloud-hosted services. o Implement monitoring and logging using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Cloud-native tools.
3. Security & Compliance o Implement identity and access management, encryption, and vulnerability management. o Ensure infrastructure and deployments comply with BSP circulars, AMLA, and Data Privacy Act. o Support business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response planning.
4. Collaboration & Governance
o Work with developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline delivery pipelines.
o Participate in Agile ceremonies, Change Advisory Board (CAB) reviews, and IT risk assessments.
o Maintain documentation of infrastructure, configurations, and audit-related records.
IV. QUALIFICATIONS
Required: Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Preferred: Work Experience
- 3–5 years of DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience in enterprise environments.
- Proven track record with CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with production support, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
V. COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
1. Technical Proficiency
o CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
o Cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS (IaaS/PaaS deployments).
o Containers & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
o Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, ARM templates.
o Monitoring & logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch.
2. Security & Compliance
o Knowledge of OWASP, CIS benchmarks, and cloud security practices.
o Familiarity with BSP/AMLA requirements, ISO 27001, and Data Privacy compliance.

o Strong troubleshooting skills in production and distributed systems.
